A Piece of Poetry: Blue Ladies

Blue Ladies: By Alisha M. Wielfaert

Light blue ladies invade the orange evening. They stopped into the polka-dot bar for a sliver of blues. It didn't affect their mood. They remained bright blue. This didn't mean they were sad. They are painted too brightly to be sad.

Will you come out of your room and play with the blue ladies? They want to know. They want you to walk on water. They want you to play. Stop being sad they say. Enter our orange evening.

Be here without an edge, with out a steady stream of thoughts. Get outside of your ego. Be plain. Be you. Be. Be a blue lady invading the orange evening of your mind.
