It's Wise Women Wednesday, each week I interview a woman that I believe is inspiring, living abundantly and following her passions.  These are all women who live a life of abundance and bring creativity into the world.

I met Sky about this time last year.  A friend of mine told me that she had gone to see Sky, a Tarot card reader, and shared with me what a helpful experience it had been.  I was a bit skeptical and yet intrigued.  I checked out Sky's website and she offered a Reiki and tarot session, which I decided was the right combination.  I'm not sure I can explain what transpired aside from saying I know I received an abundance of love and compassion.  Sky gives her clients attention, love and compassion She's also a pure Intuitive.  I'm honored and excited to share her interview with you today.

Q. Who are you? What is your background?
A. My name is Sky Bradshaw. I am originally from Philadelphia, but I moved to Mebane when I was in elementary school. I have a very diverse work history  and background. Being a sales person brought me to Greensboro in my 30’s. I have been Intuitive since birth and being Spiritual has always been a part of my life in some way, shape, or form. (even if I didn’t know what that really meant at the time.) I made the switch to full time Spiritualist about eight years ago but have been reading Tarot since I was 16 years old, and have always seen energy, auras, and talked to Spirit since birth.

Q. What is your work?

Q. What is one project you are excited to be working on right now?
A. The “21 Days to Positive” workshop really has me going! This was an idea I had for a book over a year ago. Then it fell to the wayside when I sat down to write it and another book (the dark history of my marriage) came pouring out. As I worked on myself and the healing that was needed in regards to it I implemented the skillset that came into place with the 21 things book. I had used these fundamentals my entire existence to survive but this time it was imperative to make best use of them to continue the help I was giving to other people while healing. When the Universe seemed to start going through tougher emotional times, especially focused on women’s rights issues and the disempowerment of women, I knew it was time to share my lessons with others. To allow anyone who wanted to help reframe their focus and retrain their energy to lift themselves up as well. Once the free workshop is over I may focus on publishing it. People are hungry for this information and deserve to feel whole, balanced, and healed.

Q. What is one thing you've done recently that's scared you and took courage, but you're glad you did?
A. Opening up my heart completely to my relationship was difficult for me. It made me do all the Ego work that I had so carefully orchestrated away from. There are lots of types of Love and lots of ways to be vulnerable; it is also easy to let Spirit guide you in many aspects of life, but listening in this one can be an Achilles heal. Those very close, intimate, interpersonal soul mate loves can be the most valuable and the hardest to navigate. I had a fear, but an unwavering sense it was the right thing to do. We have been together a long time and this Christmas I accepted a second ring with the big goofiest smile on my face.

Q. What is the work you most want to be doing and are you doing it?  If not why not what's stopping you?
A.  I want to reach more people with the work I am already doing, and that is my plan for 2017. Books, workshops, online teaching. I LOVE one on one Spirit guided messages for people. There is nothing better then being able to do a session with someone and laying out their future. Then when I get an email months later that says everything that we talked about manifested for them it is pure joy. Allowing Spirit to be able to help them navigate things, make the best choices, and feel confident in their position in life is the greatest gift possible. Seeing people grow, helping people balance their energy, showing them their potential, and teaching them how to use their own skillsets. These are the things that make my life amazing. I am so grateful I get to live this. I believe that when the one is strengthened then the sum is fortified. This is how we become a strong community. It is the individual position that allows our strength. I just want to do things like this workshop and watch 100 people grow all at once!

Q. What would you tell your high school or college self?
A. Wow. The me then would have had a hard time listening because I had four kids by pre-college age. At my core I was the same me as now, in my environment it was just buried under the oppressive energy of someone who would marry a 15 year old. So what I would say is probably the same thing Spirit said to me constantly. “You are not alone.” And “this to shall pass” I would have never guessed the life I have now, or the amazing children that grew out of that time, or the person I have become. I wouldn’t have just needed a light to guide to and to know there can be a different way. That is how I can see people struggling so much and understand that life can be everything they want. How it can be all the things. When all they see is a wall I am here to be Spirit’s voice to help them see a door, and then a path, and then the meadow, then the Universe. I help them see this for themselves because that is the only way.

Q. What's one piece of advice or motto you love and use in your daily life that you would like to share with my sweet readers?A. You cannot have change with out change.
It is my favorite Spirit given quote. Simple and direct… and the truth. We all must be brave and make the actions of change we want in ourselves.

Q.  What keeps you creating when you don't feel like it?
A.  Everything I do I do as a vessel. When I get frustrated with others choices, or the World, or things seemingly being off I remember that Divine Order ultimately will reside. That is when I sit quietly and listen. I connect with the purest form of mindfulness and remember that one plus one equals THREE. If you put two things together a third can be created. If I connect to Spirit and try not to focus on anything else a third thing, a destined thing, will be able to form. Me plus Spirit equals Divine Order. That is all it takes. Then I can get a clear vision of what I should create.

Q. Anything else you'd like to share?
A. I am honored and blessed to be featured here. I have so much gratitude for all connections and believe that everything in life is a learning moment and a teaching possibility. As we move forward I hope to encounter more with people through this experience. Also I welcome anyone who would like to join Love Church. It sounds a lot like this ;)

Q. What's your favorite yoga pose?
A. I am somewhat of a novice, but I will say I studied many many years ago with a teacher in Chapel Hill who did laughing yoga on Friday nights and that was just about the coolest thing ever. An hour of giggling my brains out was the most fun thing on earth and very therapeutic. My favorite pose is Tree though.

Q. How do you live a life of abundance?
A. When I stepped out of a corporate position I got a strong urging from Spirit that I would have everything I need.  There is a Haitian saying that goes “If it is God who sends you on your mission it is He who will pay your way.” Meaning that a Spiritual Path will be paved if you keep to your mission. The key is to know what is important, understand your needs, be true to your actions and Faith, and to not over state what that might be. Be humble and grateful. I am always living a life of abundance because Spirit always takes care of my needs. Now, that doesn’t mean Duke Energy doesn’t have to get theirs… you have to make a value statement of what your energies are worth to be sure to honor the gift Spirit is giving. The giver and the receiver must have a balance of what they feel their personal responsibility and value for that is, otherwise people don’t show up for their part. There is a balance equilibrium in everything. Sometimes that is monetary, sometimes that is trade, sometimes that is a pay it forward… on my part or theirs.
