October Travel Recap in Pictures

I think it's safe to say October has been the wonkiest month of travel yet!  It wasn't one big place it was a series of places, home and gone, then home and gone again.

It started with a quick trip to Toledo to help my parent's paint their house.

Then I popped over to NY city to hang out with a friend

A was home for a few days in Greensboro before heading back to NY state via a road trip up to Omega for a Women's Leadership Intensive.  Did I mention I did a little glamping, while I was nursing a cold?

This was our lodging at Omega, open air screen door, no heat, and open air ceiling

One night it got down to 31 degrees, I was thankful for my very warm sleeping bag.

Omega's Lake in Rhinebeck NY

Omega is a dreamy campus that's a haven for hippies like me, they have the first LEED certified building in the nation (their own water treatment plant), they recycle and compost at almost every place you throw away trash, their food is a health nuts dream, and they regularly have days of silence on campus. The programing was incredible and the women I met blew my mind. I feel so grateful for the week I spent at Omega.

After the leadership Intensive at Omega we packed up camp and drove to Silver Springs Maryland where Andra dropped me for my first weekend studying Positive Psychology. I had two amazing days learning techniques on how to flourish at life and then flew home Monday morning. I got to be home in Greensboro for three whole days before flying back to OH to celebrate Wielfaert family Christmas.  Yes we celebrate it in October, strange but better logistically speaking.

A trip to Toledo never seems complete to me if I don't get to make a stop here.
