This is a reminder that when you’re doing what you’re meant to do doors open, opportunities present themselves if you’re willing to do the needed work to walk through the doors that are opened. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more fitting and complimentary side hustle.
Today honestly is going to be a challenge for me personally. I normally don't spend Thanksgiving with family (even though I love them) often it's easier for me to love them from afar. My family includes arguments, drama, and the grit of life and often when with family I feel like I’m the very worst version of myself.
I feel like God herself showed up with her wings out wide for a magic embrace that whispered a message that it will all be ok.
I’m asking myself if my phone is useful and bringing joy and enrichment or is it disconnecting me? I know when I mindlessly use it, I’m actually disconnecting myself from what’s truly important instead of using it as a tool to connect intentionally with the world around me. I’m actively taking steps to become less reliant on my cell phone.

I believe sharing this as a female is not only important but also a radical act of protest against the patriarchy. A radical act against a system that’s tried to tell women to toughen up and grow a thicker skin when this is precisely what often makes us really damn tough already.
