Today's Meditation was inspired by my studies in positive psychology and learning how impactful a gratitude practice can be on wellbeing. A daily gratitude practice can help you improve your happiness in the long run. It's my hope this meditation will inspire your day and bring you lasting happiness. It's 7 minutes 37 seconds. Enjoy

“Last summer, a friend and I rode motorcycles and camped in Alaska for 10 days. A year before, neither one of us had ever driven a motorcycle. We spent a year preparing for the trip. Personally, I’ve curdled on the inside trying to answer the question “and what do you do” at networking events and social functions in the past. I’ve stood there like a deer in headlights thinking, “I’m so much more than what I do, how can I tell you who I am?”
“Never stop wanting more. Always put yourself out there and learn new things. Continue to be an individual and don’t change who you are for anyone. “
It turns out this corduroy jacket can talk, maybe not in words but I’m getting it’s message. I think my dad still has a lot to teach me, but from now on he’s speaking in a different language.
