Q. Who are you? What is your background?
A. That’s such a multi-faceted question! So in my typical organizational fashion, I’ll answer this question…
Personally, I am an avid volleyball player, love the ocean, travel, and dogs.
Geographically, I am originally from Charleston, SC but am a bit of a nomad. I have lived in Florida, California, Spain, Italy, and Ireland. For whatever reason, Wanderlust is in my blood. Currently, I reside in Greensboro, NC.
Professionally, I have a BA in Psychology and am a Certified Life & Relationship Coach. I have studied the principles of the Law of Attraction and family and relational psychology very extensively. From my studies and my own journey of intense money trauma, I learned about relational money patterns and how it affects our wealth potential.
Q. What is your work?
A. I am a Law of Attraction Money Mindset Coach. I help women, particularly female entrepreneurs, attract wealth and abundance by healing their money wounds.
Q. What is one project you are excited to be working on right now?
A. I recently launched my 30-day program, The Money Magnet Course! It’s designed to help women begin to heal their money wounds and trauma using the principles of the Law of Attraction. As women, we all have wounds and trauma around money. Quite frankly, it’s built into our patriarchal culture. As we begin to heal these wounds, we can shift the view of ourselves and how we show up around money. By healing our money wounds, we also give the other women around us permission to do the same.
Q. What is one thing you've done recently that's scared you and took courage, but you're glad you did?
A. I feel like that’s a daily process! Expanding my business and doing in-person workshops and speaking engagements recently has been huge! After experiencing financial, emotional and verbal abuse, my PTSD was so bad I was literally scared to leave my home and engage with other humans. That fact that I can now get up and speak in front of a crowd is a monumental accomplishment.
Q. What is the work you most want to be doing and are you doing it? If not, why not? What's stopping you?
A. I’m doing it now! I’ve known since I was 15 I was going to be helping people with their relationships. After growing up in a very dysfunctional family environment with lots of trauma particularly around money, my mission eventually evolved into helping people with their relationship to money.
Q. What would you tell your high school or college self?
A. It gets better. As you step more into yourself and your own belief system, the world begins to open up for you.
Q. What's one piece of advice or motto you love and use in your daily life that you would like to share with my sweet readers?
A. With desire and heart, no matter how small the steps, you will reach your goal!
Q. What keeps you creating when you don't feel like it?
A. The realization that there are so many other women out there with stories similar to mine that need the knowledge I have accumulated along the way.
Q. What's your favorite yoga pose?
Q. How do you live a life of abundance?
A. I have a daily gratitude practice where I intentionally focus on the abundance I received that day. Whether it was a smile, a gift, or anything else. By focusing on what’s working and what you already have, you attract more abundance into your life.
