Alisha's Ginger, Garlic, Noodle Soup with Bok Choy

Sometimes when Pintrest meets real life the result is a mixed bag. I found a recipe on Pintrest for a “Ginger Garlic, Noodle Soup with Bok Choy”, it even had a video. The problem with this recipe is that the recipe itself left things off from the video and it didn’t have written out directions which made it difficult to follow. It’s one of those recipes it will start as their’s and become yours. This is my attempt to simplify the recipe, make it easier for you to make and easier for me to make the next time I do it again (and that will probably be soon!).

Directions:

Then add the white part of the green onions and then add garlic and fresh ginger mix and sauté on medium heat. Now add vegetable broth and water. Add star anise and soy sauce, stir together cover and bring to a boil and then boil for about another 5 minutes. Remove the star anise. Add 1 head of chopped Bok Choy chopped and the ramen noodles. Then add the mushrooms. Stir together, bring back to a boil and continue to cook for about 4 minutes until the ramen is done. Then turn the heat off and add the additional Bok Choy leaves whole, mix them in, then add the chopped cilantro (optional), the chopped green tops of the green onion, the chill flakes, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
