Q. Who are you? What is your background?
A. I’m Fa'Lon Thomas and my background is in website and software development.
Q. What is your work?
A. I am the founder and CEO of Onyx Ocean Technologies a software development company that specializes in custom software, mobile application development and website design.
Q. What is one project you are excited to be working on right now?
A. I am working on building a community of young entrepreneurs, investors & change makers cultivating a life of prosperity and abundance. (I’m still in the begging phase, I would like to officially launch in January.)
Q. What is one thing you've done recently that's scared you and took courage, but you're glad you did?
A. I spoke to Entrepreneurship students at NC A&T. They were all very appreciative of the insights that I shared. I realized that there is no reason to be nervous about sharing information that could improve the quality of somebody’s life.
Q. What is the work you most want to be doing and are you doing it? If not why not what's stopping you?
A. I want to do speaking engagements at colleges and encourage students to pursue entrepreneurship. I would like to give them practical advice and share all that I have learned during my journey. I also want to learn more about emerging technologies and incorporate them into my business. Nothing is stopping me, I just need to dedicate more time and make more connections in the space.
Q. What would you tell your high school or college self?
A. Don’t worry about things not happening fast enough. Learn as much as you can while pursuing and creating opportunities for yourself and others.

A. "Success is not an accident!" - Some wise human
Q. What keeps you creating when you don't feel like it?
A. I reflect on how far I have come in my journey.
Q. What's your favorite yoga pose?
A. I don’t have one yet. I need to do yoga more.
Q. How do you live a life of abundance?
A. I make it a point to be mindful of my health and drink tea every morning. I also like to think about all the things that I am grateful for.
