Elizabeth has a Great Bullshit Detector
Just because someone is a great teacher doesn’t mean they were a model citizen
When you take the teacher off the pedestal, you start expecting yourself to because the teacher.
Study with people who don’t need you to follow them and want you to follow yourself and the part of yourself that’s a good leader.

All Wisdom is made up
You can live from any story you want, it’s always a choice
Many of our stories come from men
Take the story of Adam and Eve for example.  Eve is the only person in the bible who went through the hero’s journey and was punished for it.  All she did was get curious and hope for wisdom
We all have to die to become wise, that is the hero’s journey.  We have to individuate for wisdom.
Feminism is important as long as there is work to do.
A lot of men are so evolved compared to where we’ve been.
Softening the ego is so important
In meditation, there is a softening into the emptiness
The old stories have hurt men as much as women
What stories are our scares about?
Was still carrying an idea that without him, I was not a valid human being.  I needed to let go of that idea that we are Eve.  I had to finally be enough on my own.
ADD, Authenticity Deficit Disorder: There is a game of just hiding out from each other and we don’t present our true humanness to each other.
Sometimes we veil ourselves because we don’t want to show others how strong we are.
We don’t have to throw appropriateness out the window when we are dealing with perennial mysteries.
How liberal are we if we can’t listen to each other?
We can disagree vehemently with each other, but we have to listen to each other
Diversity of opinion and politics will never go away, and we need each other and diversity of opinion to bounce ideas off of.
It’s very important for us to humanize the person with a different opinion
Men speak much more then men statistically speaking.
There is a commonly held belief that women speak so much more then men and men are the strong and silent type.
Women have been told through the ages, don’t talk a lot, don’t take up too much space.
A life of abundance is a life of love.
