Dear Cancer,

Thank you for coming to teach me that I need to do life in a different way. I’m so grateful for you and all that you have come to teach me. I want to let you know that you’ve done a beautiful job as my teacher. I’m learning so much on this fast. You’ve shown me that my community loves me so much for me, just as I am. You’ve also shown me Philip’s highest self in how he has truly stepped up to support me and show me love in so many different ways. Thank you!

I want to let you know that I will keep diving into the depths of this lesson that you have for me, especially around my need to feel like I have to do, and produce so much all of the time. I won’t get off this healing journey until I’ve figured out how to change that part of my lifestyle. And, it’s ok for you to go during this fast at any time, day 14 or any other day that works for you, but please leave before my next mammogram. I want to be a miracle, I want to show myself and others the body’s amazing capacity for healing. I know that my healing will inspire others to heal, too. In this way, you and I will be in service to so many. Thank you.
